ODU Women's Tennis Falls Short Of Beating The Tribe, 4-3

Norfolk Va.- The Old Dominion University women?s tennis team fell to 7-9 for the year as they lost to William and Mary, 4-3 on Sunday afternoon at the Old Dominion tennis courts.
No. 30 Nataly Cahana defeated Megan Muth of William and Mary 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 for the No. 1 singles match. Cahans improved to 27-6 on the season and is on a nine-match win streak.
Also victorious for the Lady Monarchs was Larissa Santos who downed the Tribe?s Lingda Yang 5-7, 6-0, 6-3 at No. 4 singles.
Old Dominion captured two of the three doubles matches. At No. 1 doubles,
the Lady Monarch?s Nataly Cahana and Coralie Herrmann were defeated by
Megan Muth and Amy Wei, 8-1. Fernanda Luiz and Kristin Endlich of ODU
topped Lena Sherbakor and Deguzmao, 8-4, to capture the No. 2 doubles
match. Winning the third doubles match were Larrissa Santos and Barbara
Kerner, who defeated Lingda Yang and Emily Mowery 8-6.
