BLACKSBURG, VA -- Second seeded senior Nataly Cahana (Qiriat Bialik, Israel) captured the ITA East Regional Women's Tennis Tournament Title this afternoon at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

This was Cahana's second ITA East Regional Title having won the tournament as a freshman back in the Fall of 2000.

Cahana's first match of the afternoon was a 6-4, 6-1 semifinal victory over Romona of Maryland before proceeding to take the title with another win over another Terp, a 6-3, 7-5 decision over Maryland's seventh seeded Emily Marker.

The Old Dominion women's tennis team returns to action at the ITA National Indoor Championships in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
